Spinal Decompression Therapy for Neck and Low Back Pain
Lately I have been getting more and more questions about spinal decompression therapy and who it helps. So I thought I would take some time to explain it further. Spinal decompression can help many different conditions in the low back, which many people often refer to as the hips, and in the neck. In my practice, it has been shown to be very effective in treating tight muscles, hip pain, nerve pain, sciatica, compressed discs, herniated discs, bulging discs, neck pain, arm pain, and headaches to name a few symptoms!
A very common question I get is how does it work. Spinal decompression therapy creates increased space between the discs in your spine, which can allow for pressure to be taken off your nerves. When pressure is taken off of your nerves, your body can experience a significant relief in symptoms. Many of my patients look forward to this treatment, as this is the part of their day when they can get a substantial amount of pain relief.
